I've always admired the original painting but now it hits me differently. I recognize the feeling behind that glassy gaze, it's been with me for 2 years now. The world is too much, everything is out of your control and there's no point moving a muscle even if you're drowning.

Actually, this is total cringe, so here are some earlier versions. Granted, they are less creative, but I think they look better 😔

This is my art for the Realm of the elderlings gift exhange. Fitz, Beloved and Bee live together. Spark, Lant and Per stay with them for Winterfest. Fitz and Beloved's attempts to keep their romantic relationship private are not going well 🤡

Ironically, my hand didn't survive handtober. I think I've developed the carpal tunnel syndrome, so this is the last bunch and probably the end of me as an artist.
