His original design is very different from how he looks now, too! His hair used to be darker and straight, and when I first drew him apparently I didn't know how necks work (why is it so long???)

You may recognize Marlowe from the countless memes I've made of him and Quincy interacting. Interestingly, since his face scar was a late addition to his design, most of my art of him lacks that detail

@RipleyJNick lol the character of Harriet used to be a man named Georg! so i think that she definitely wins this award for me ;;v;; she's much more interesting as a woman, too! it was a change for the better, but editing to fix all the pronouns was hell

Quincy has changed a lot since day one! since she's the main character, she's easily the one i draw the most, so i have plenty of old art for comparison - here's some year 1 character art versus more recent!

Quincy is the MC of the Unwanted Prophet. Raised in the south, she moved north when her mother died, & stayed there until the event that landed her in jail.

Quincy is sarcastic & irreverent. She's quick to trust others, often to a fault.

@alexboakeillo Ignacio likes to read in his downtime. Fiction is his favorite - by the way he talks nobody would really expect him to be a book lover, but he always has one on hand in case he has a spare moment

So, you heard I wrote a book. But what's the Unwanted Prophet all about?

It follows Quincy, my sweet baby girl, as she tries to cope with going from criminal to prophet overnight. She has to deal with a lot - corrupt priests, cults, and a God who doesn't have all the answers.
