@FGAnniversaries KOF 2001 is overhated.
Like MVC2, the game is broken but fun 👍
I enjoyed it more than KOF 2000.

The stryker system in 2001 is the best in the series.
The soundtrack is very catchy (one of my favorites)
It has one of the best rosters.
A satisfactory conclusion of the NESTS saga.

@Novembyrr Rugal's artwork in the original KOF 2002 is my favorite.

I am one of the few people who actually likes how Nona drew the Orochi Team.
Instead of just changing their colours, you can see big changes, especially with Orochi Yashiro and Orochi Chris.

@Zeromayn @Novembyrr In my opinion, replacing the art for the PS2 port of KOF 2001 was a mistake.
Most of the characters look more expressive in the in game art of the arcade/dreamcast version.
Also the painting was better.

@Novembyrr @NeoGeoArt I am glad I am not the only one who likes Nona's style.

I prefer his in game art in KOF 2001 (arcade/dreamcast) over the one in 2002

For me, the story of the King of Fighters ended with KOF XIII, everything else that came out later I don't consider canon.

I am not saying all the new stuff is bad, there are a few good things I like but in my opinion KOF XIV felt more like a reboot than a sequel.

@MattMcMuscles I miss the MI characters (Lien, Chae Lim, Xiao Lon and Alba are my favorites) and some of the alternate costumes were great.

Lien, Mai, Chae Lim and Leona got great costumes.

@SNKPofficial I was hoping they will play W.W.III. for Whip's trailer.
I prefer it over The Trooper.

For some reason W.W.III. fits Whip better in my opinion.

I hope Whip is K's (his brother) teammate in KOF XV
K' Team in KOF 2001, 2002 and 2003 are my favorites because she was in that team.
