Original Zero is a tyrant, he may have his qualities but in the end he will kill anyone who threats NESTS status quo, he's too blind to see all things that he doesn't stop his clone or Igniz and overall was just a tool for a greater evil

Clone Zero.

He gives an impression that he knows too much things to considers himself a lesser evil, but his actions ended messing all things for friends and foes alike.

Let's start with Krizalid.

He was the idealist follower who is a very loyal and caring person but have to do a evil work only to be killed off and cloned by his superiors... a real tragic villain here.

What I really like about the NESTS saga in the King of Fighters series is how the main antagonists are humans (not an ancient god, demons, aliens, etc)

It showed the darkest side of humanity.
That is why I like about the saga and its bosses.
