Via the #NintendoLeaks - this very early sprite of Link. Different to that of the final game. Note is that the hair of Link has more than one color to it - while in the final his hair is a single Pink hue.
At the end of the puzzle mode in ‘Yoshi’s Cookie’ on the SNES, you’ll see Yoshi flying away. In the #NintendoLeaks files we can see an earlier rendition of this artwork.
