This was a fun one! I don't do mechs/robots often and I'm very unskilled at it (I found out), but it was fun trying regardless! :D
Absolutely floored myself with this piece. Tried a handful of new things and they worked out great, I think. I also included the sketch to show the color scheme I had in mind originally.
I'll be over here, fondly gazing at something I made myself (which doesn't happen often.)
By popular demand, I finished this sketch as well. Making a new mock cover series out of it, hopefully. Really happy with how this one turned out! :D
And here's the fourth and final mock cover for Dead Men Tell Tales, featuring a powerful centaur who stands FOR nature and AGAINST the unnatural, such as Necromancers.
Incredibly pleased with my ability to draw horse's legs without any reference XD
For the next (and last Dead Men Tell tales) cover, I really struggled with the character and setting, as evidenced by these three pretty different sketches. I picked one already, but I'm curious which one you like best. Let me know!
This one was a beast to flat and color! So many little details in there. But ultimately very fun to work on and pretty happy with the end result. I kinda lost the vision I had for it among the way, but it still turned out okay :D
Struggled with this one for a bit, but I, with the help of a few tips from you good folks on here, managed to work through it. Really happy with how it turned out :D
