2. Sandshrew: For some reason, my little child brain back in RBY era loved this rollie pollie and had one in my party always before I even really knew how to play the games properly.

3. Pichu: The first little guy I hatched in Gold version from the Odd Egg, and I adored him. I even had him hold my ever stone so he never became a pikachu.

4. Pelipper: While he may be a strange boi, the reason I like pelipper so much is because it was the first shiny I ever owned. I traded away two of my legendary pokemon for him to my little brother, who got a shiny several years before me.

5. Ralts: I spent so much time hunting for this little guy as a kid in sapphire, that once I found him, he basically became my starter and was waaay over-leveled.

6. Chansey: I asked my girlfriend once which pokemon I was the most like, and she gave me Chansey, because I'm a nurturer and am good at caring for people. So the pokemon grew on me significantly. 🥰

7. Victini: If I'm going to include a mythical, it has to be Victini. Mainly, because my good friend wrote a song about the pokemon that our band preformed live several times!

8. Sylveon: I had to include an eeveelution because I adore the line of them, and what better one to pick than the one of the trans flag? Plus I love fairy types.

9. Toxapex: This pokemon was the hardest for me to get competitively with Hidden Ability, Nature, and IV's. I could not for the life of me leave Toxi here off knowing damn well I spent several sleepless nights hunting and breeding to find my special toxic friend.

10. Litten: This fella barely makes the list because of my love for cats, and he was my starter for USUM. Plus LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS.
