KH1 Kairi says "Let's go save Riku".
KH3 Kairi and Sora are saved by Riku (his light leading them out of the darkness).

KH1 Kairi says "I just didn't want to forget you, Sora!"
KH3 Kairi says "I just didn't give up on you, Sora!"
This is the exact same sentence with only one word changed in Japanese.

KH1 Sora recognizes that Kairi was the light that saved him from succumbing to the darkness.
KH3 Sora (incorrectly this time) assumes Kairi was the light in the in the darkness.
