I am proud to announce that I am taking part in the development of #AvatarFrontiersofPandora at #UbiMassive. #UbisoftForward was amazing. Looking forward to hear more about all the good news. Good job everyone. #leveldesign #gamedev
@CobTheCreator Maybe something like this. Elevated 2-3 m platforms that can serve as stalls connected to the bottom floor trough ramps or stairs. Basically Islands or something. Focus on developing places where the player can jump down and up again in some kind of circular movement... maybe...
Some #ACValhalla craziness: Cats, Tripping on Shrooms and talking to Elks, Giant Trees and Bridges made of light!
So it seems #4games has been happening so are some games I worked on: Watch 1,2, Legion, Assassin's Creed Rogue.
Here's a sneak peak of what the video above degenerate into. #leveldesign
@Laffman_ @Ape_Asylum @leveldesignfm Sounds like an appendix on the mars rover.
@JeffreyPidsadny @Modular_Squared I prefer the 2.5x30m because it fits exactly with the 4x4 wall models and also with a 4m high wall (representing one floor). 2x3m works from a proportional stand point but you end up building extra modular pieces to fill the gaps. Like in the picture bellow.
@Modular_Squared It looks a lot better, but those stairs look gigantic.
Make sure the floor height is 4 meters. The run should be 0.5m, rise 0.25, entire length of the stairs shouldn't be longer then 8 meters.
I did some home-baked #leveldesign this afternoon. I've been playing a lot of AC Odyssey lately so my head is full of forts and camps:
