The adventure we're playing is a charming Feywild adventure set in a very special tavern and written by @BiancaBickford. It's the perfect adventure for a group of professional storytellers, and I'm really excited to see what they come up with!
When I came up with the idea for these games I hoped that inviting illustrators to play DnD might bring some character illustrations, but I'm truly being spoilt!
Our next player is author and illustrator @chloillustrates who is playing the halfling innkeeper, Peggy Goldleaf.
Next we have @jamieillustrate, who will be playing the brave knight, Barnabus Brasshorn. I've been a huge fan of Jamie's illustration work for years, and would you just look at Barnabus? I bet that's a hero with many great tales to tell!
Two new reviews up on my blog today for your delight and edification.
Well, maybe not, because these two books are horrid and brutal and nasty and just plain hilariously funny and brilliant, straight from the twisted mind of the wonderful @RachelDelahaye

Today's blog review is the gorgeous Call Me Lion by @camillacauthor. So much beautiful and touching representation in this lovely book, specifically around selective mutism, but also I just love it for encouraging boys to dance. @FireflyPress 🌕🌕🌕🌕

My review of Major and Mynah by @AuthorKarenOwen and @Munkey_Pants is now on my blog. @FireflyPress

"Major and Mynah is fast paced and fun, with beautiful, positive disability representation and a very sweet young heroine."

In Mort the Meek and the Monstrous Quest, Mort is all at sea, and also feeling a bit lost and confused about what to do.
Another horribly funny, and grotesquely brilliant story from @RachelDelahaye, as we return once more to Brutalia with style.

I've figured out what a new DnD character looks like, and her aesthetic, I just have no idea what her name is, or what class she's going to be. Rogue, bard, fighter, or something else entirely?
Tonight's DnD was a really fun trip to Minauros to save the soul of a fallen minotaur hero. A city of chains suspended over a fetid swamp, where imps work in the bank and you get can rich quick by manipulating the stock market. Some morally grey decisions were made!

Behold!
Here is the magnificent cover for Mort the Meek The Monstrous Quest!
The second book in this horribly wonderful series by @RachelDelahaye, beautifully illustrated by @georgermos and published by @LittleTigerUK on 6th January 2022.
