Just finished the most magical commissioned illustration for a delightful little girl.
(Surprisingly, no, it's not for my kid - though I'm sure she'll want her own version! :)
The butterflies are loosely based on Tasmanian species, because Tasmania is special to this family.

Ok I think this epic #Astarion illustration might be done?! If I do any more I fear I will over-work it, and I rather enjoyed doing the painterly style. I had forgotten how much FUN digital painting is! #baldursgate3

This is a Blue-Banded Bee on a scrambling lily flower in my garden. The flowers are teeny tiny, so I think they count as something "dainty" and delicate. 🙂
Also, I realised I don't understand how bees' knees work... like, literally.

World Watercolour Month - Day 2 - "Momentum"
I struggled with deciding what to paint for this one, until I looked around and noticed the one thing around me that is constantly in motion - my daughter. :P
It doesn't quite look like her, but the point of this is practice - right?
