At this point it’s all about applying and layering paint! This is the most fun and meditative part, things are going smoothly and I just get to blend and mix and blend and refine my little heart out

This color palette was especially fun with the strange greys and whites

The next pass of painting the face. Deep browns, midnight blues, umbers, and reflected blue light on Black skin?? It’s such a treat to paint.

Shoutout to this face becoming a blend of me, Moses Sumney, and Kwaye—we are all Africa or sumthn 😂

I had so much fun with today’s figure drawing session with BareLifeArt x @damianxxxdragon & @SergeySheptun. When two figures interacting have chemistry, it’s so magical to capture the sense of touch, tension, and weight distribution!
