⚓️/⭐️Navy/Army medics comparison: Kaoruko (Navy Medic) and Makiko (Army Medic). Their ranks are about the same (CPO and SgtMaj, both uppermost NCO ranks).

Side note: Makiko's shirt is based off of an older Meiji Era medic uniform. Makiko is Sector XII's coroner and chief medic.

Fun fact: the Daihiryuu was originally going to have desert-type camouflage (think of the airship Goliath in "Castle in the Sky") but I made the decision to switch to green-based camouflaging with sky-blue "waterline" paint. Here's a hypothetical desert-type camouflage paint:

Also, exasperated Kei is extremely relatable in my opinion. She tries to hide any stress and frustrations behind humor/laughter and a smiling face.
