Some years ago I had an idea for a short comic about young Harrow twins for my Boardwalk Empire fanblog on tumblr. I dropped it after season 4 aired. All is left is this piece. I still like it a lot!

@tom55174746 @TheSWU My favorite part of the picture was the huge, exaggerated lava wave. I've searched up pictures of lava animation from Disney. The perfect reference I found was the Firebird from Fantasia 2000 and the cave escape scene from Aladdin! And pictures of solar flares are also beautiful.

So there's one empire at war with another empire. And the griffon one got split into three different countries...

Sorry, haven't drawn in a while. What is anatomy? What is perspective? It's a mystery again... lol All I know is that I've missed doodling my characters.
