Day 24: Jon Osterman - Dr. Manhattan
First introduced in Watchmen #1 in 1986, Dr. Manhattan is an ultra powerful character, able to reconstruct universes, who also happens to be a patrilineal Jewish man.
Day 21: Erik Lehnsherr - Magneto
First introduced in X-Men #1 in 1963 Magneto is one of the most well known characters in comics, let alone the most famous Jewish character, which is strange considering how much Marvel refuses to show off that their biggest characters is Jewish
Day 19: Katherine Pryde - Shadowcat
First introduced in X-Men #129 in 1979, Katherine Pryde (or Kitty as she was known when she was younger) is a mutant that joined up with the X-Men and has been a part of various teams throughout her time.
Day 16: Willow Zimmerman - Whistle
First appearing in Whistle: A New Gotham City Hero in 2021. After a fight with Killer Croc, Willow and her dog Lenowitz gained attributes of each other and were able to communicate.
Day 14: Kate Kane - Batwoman
First appearing in 52 #7 in 2006, Kate is the cousin of Bruce Wayne and a superhero in her own right.
Born to parents Gabi and Jacob Kane, Kate was a witness to the murder of her sister and mother at a young age.
Day 13: Vance Astrovik - Justice
First appearing in Giant-Size Defenders #5 in 1975, Vance is a Jewish mutant who’s been a part of many different teams including the “New Warriors” and the “Avengers”.
It’s never stated which parent was Jewish, but we can assume it’s his mother
Day 12: Bobby Drake - Iceman
First appearing in X-men #1 in 1963, Bobby Drake is one of the founding members of the team. The youngest of the teens, Bobby had a rough origin, incasing a bully in ice in an effort to help him and his friend.
Day 9: Marc Spector - Moon Knight
First appearing in Werewolf By Night #32 in 1975 as a villain, Marc Spector then became a hero in subsequent issues. Marc is also the host of a system, raised Orthodox by his father who was a rabbi.
Day 8: Hal Jordan - Green Lantern
First appearing in Showcase #22 in 1959, while not the first character to take up the mantle of Green Lantern, Hal is one of the most prominent members.
Day 7: David Haller - Legion
