This was painted right after the first post-mortem birthday for Steve, and right after I stopped drinking.
I think it kinda shows. But what also shows is growth.

Alright, made it through the 2019 pieces. On to the 2020 ones, and the Hospital Waiting Room pieces.
I'm going to bump the reserve price (they're all Name Your Own Price) up a little on these, just because at this point, I started putting a lot more time into each one.
Even coffee isn't making a dent in the tired today, but I said I'd get the paintings I scanned in this week available for purchase on my website today, so I'm gonna buckle down and get it done.
First four done. /flex

Working with depth of field in these pieces, knowing what to leave out of detail, is a Thing right now.
Some days are more Everything than others.
(Definitely a reflection of my own life, heh. It's my art, so, yeah, it's going to be.)
So, an easy, uncomplicated slow song, and scratching lines with a caligraphy pen until I'm too tired.
Meditation Paintings are good for observing thinking happening.
There's an odd solemnity tonight, and it's probably related to how I've been firing on all cylinders - in every area - and feel unexpectedly loved lately.
That will ground me out pretty neatly, it turns out.
