Day 6 of @KHOC_Week : Life's Perks

I wish I had more graphics for this day, but have a few bullet points in the thread below about what Yui and Hikaru get up to during peaceful times instead.

Yui was never a fighter. Though she's acted to protect herself or her siblings in the past, she was never trained and has little interest in really learning to fight.
However, she can't escape the fact that something dark and powerful lurks beneath the surface of her heart.

Hikaru wields a cane-shaped staff and becomes adept with magic, especially white magic. Reflect, Time spells, and Cure are her specialties. She also gains a strange power from a certain grinning cat early on in her journey...

Yui on the other hand always kept her distance from other people, never willing to open up—until she meets Aqua, a person she comes to admire... and maybe also the kind of person she wishes she could be.

From there, is it really surprising that she falls in love?

While she cares for all of her friends deeply, she eventually comes to a unique understanding with Riku. Despite the bad blood between them from earlier parts of Hikaru's journey, they come to terms with their past mistakes and grudges and establish a firm trust in each other.

Next is Hikaru's older sister Yui (also KH3 design). A sullen young woman who harbors a lot of fears and reservations about her place in the worlds. More information in the rest of the thread!
