Anyway, Sonny boy premiere was stellar & it gets me really exciting. The sound direction is reminiscent of great anime director Ryutaro nakamura (RIP) & the OP song drop never gets old how many times I watch it. Sonny boy has a lot of things going for it, let's have a ride!

To handle backgrounds, one of anime's best background studio in Japan were approached - studio Pablo - famous for artists hand-painting all the work & using little digital assistance. Mari fujino was only recently promoted as art director in dororo 2019

There wouldn't be a recap next episode. This episode's motif of Rika & others finding their single parents a bit of a nuisance & burden to warming up on the end note was again, nice. I can only say nice because the show doesn't feel as powerful, potent, effective anymore
