“What a life! I’ve traveled across time and space. I’ve seen and done things beyond imagination. Blessed with friends like Pete and Lana and Jimmy. And Batman… What incredible adventures we’ve shared. What amazing people I’ve known.”
All-Star Superman #11 (2006)
Finally had a few hours today to work on a chapter for a book I'm involved in.
‘Somewhere in our darkest night, we made up the story of a man who will never let us down.' - Grant Morrison (2009)
Me when people say @MattDraperYT is their favourite ComicTuber
Consider this your friendly reminder that if you haven't read @GerardWay and @NickDerington's Doom Patrol run, you absolutely should.
It's such a great interpretation of the team that carries over the surrealism of Morrison's series, whilst being such a fresh and unique take.
I didn't think any story could exemplify why I love Superman as much as All-Star does, but Up In The Sky comes pretty damn close.
Narrowing it down to four is SO tough! But here are my picks:
Neal Adams
Mikel Janin
Nick Derington
Greg Capullo https://t.co/m872wTywY1
I'm sorry but I don't trust the opinion of anyone who says they find Superman boring
Officially started work on my next video. Don't tell anyone though - it's a Secret 🤫
When people realise the big climax of Secret Wars isn't a huge Endgame-style battle with all of Marvel's heroes, and instead a one on one showdown between Reed and God Emperor Doom, they're going to be *very* confused.
However, we all know that All Star Superman is still the best Superman.
That's objectively true, you're not allowed to disagree.
