After Ely recovers he will have to deal with all the things his "evil" self has done, though. *That includes stuff like kidnapping the doctor and .......... , or other questionable choices.

The further his corruption goes his physical traits will change as well and he will slowly start losing memories.
BUT if the corruption is suppressed and stuff and we drag his ass back, he still has to wait for his white hair to grow back and his feathers to renew with a moult.

His motif is a tern swallowed by the ocean but can't get out because of the oil on it. Evely has a strange obsession for the doctor* and his personality has taken a turn as well, and has lost all interest in talking to anyone else at all.
