Looking back to my roots and you guessed it, it’s people sitting among plants with skulls time yet again.

I’ve been struggling to work and haven’t been drawing so this week I wanted to open up a book and do my own twist of a drawing.

Decided today to draw a medusa so I tried to draw Caravaggio’s Medusa from memory and I was pretty off but still very into it.

Red and green options, of course.

I really psyched myself out trying to draw this and it followed through into deciding colors so here’s my safe colors I normally would have picked but pushed myself into this accidental Mardi Gras scheme.

I finished up the drawing I was playing with earlier. It got a bit too busy but I have class soon so I had to wrap shit up! I haven’t been playing much, only really client work so it was nice to be sloppy and just fuck around.

Did a little drawing during wayward last week. I only did one digital thing that’s easy to share for now. It felt good to just screw around and do what I wanted all week.

The group @coffeeatlarge is a local group of coffee workers who today walked out of their jobs in solidarity after being poorly treated. It’s all too common in the industry. If you want to know more go to their Instagram!
