Pokémon Legends: Arceus

After a long break I finally went back and finished the Pokédex of this thing. I liked it! Brought a childlike sense of wonder back to the series, and would love to see them take a lot of the idea from it into the main games.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (PS4)

Really glad I revisited this, it holds up pretty well! Especially compared to KH1. Soundtrack is A++. Ending successfully turned me into mush again too.

Happy new year! It’s now 10 years since @Shanooloo and I became a couple, we met in our first year of college and have been glued together since. I’m so grateful for every moment we spend together. I love you. <3

Metroid Dread (Switch)

I loved that so much, might be my favourite of the series. The music might be the one part that misses the mark for me a little bit, but overall it was such a blast.

Whole thing feels like a big love letter to the series.

Rayman 2: The Great Escape (N64)

Been wanting to revisit this for years. I never had the controller pak as a kid, so I could never save. Used to just try and clear the whole thing in one sitting.

It’s as good as I remember, the soundtrack and atmosphere are A+++.
