Next I started doing colouring over my value sketch and then implemented where I wanted the glowing part to go. After that I designed the border. I ultimately went with a stained glass design instead of the swirls I was doing. And after that its the final image you saw up top!

Here is some process shots of it! The first one was a rough idea of what I wanted, the second was adjusting so it wasn't on the center fold. Then I cleaned up and put in values.
