more different textures here!! tbe texture used to highlight this hat is very canvasy, which again really makes this art feel like it’s from olden times. the ribbon looks so shiny too, and the flowers almost look real.

okay now tbe technical aspects of the piece starting with this PAINTING. i don’t know if it’s just the quality of tbe image but the way this jawline and neck is shaded is fuckinf insane. the cool tones down the middle of the neck give this such an old oil painty vibe which was-

i will get shit for this but i think the fact this isn’t an angsty card is good. she loves kaoru a lot and idk the card story but she’s just had to see one of her best friends graduate. i think this card captures how that would feel for her really well!!!!!

is honestly one of the best pieces bandori has released. this new direction they’re taking with cards is so good and even if quality could drop after this, with these being 5 stars, im certain they’ll keep to this standard of art style at least. i am very happy right now.
