KING OF PENTACLES
----
i honestly wish i was this guy a lot. just sitting in my chair, surrounded by grapes on the vine, in my big fuzzy hat, absolutely unbothered. content. envious really
XI: justice
----
this time i was actually very on-leash and instead of just drawing my npc marilla as justice (again) i did the most adjacent thing possible. only god can judge me!
NINE OF SWORDS
----
(did you think i was done? i am not done.) i loved using a medusa for this one bc it's one that's interesting to assign a narrative to - it's one of those cards i'd love to see different people writing about, bc of the different ways it could play out
9 OF CUPS
----
another fun fact: when it comes to longer projects like this if i don't know what i want to draw i really will just spin the random wheel of things i like. this time it was "ceramics"
6 OF CUPS
----
personally always resented the idea that half-orc or orcish women couldn't be soft and gentle too so had to take matters into my own hands and be the change i wanted to see in the world
FIVE OF SWORDS
----
also like - for the record, whenever i draw someone that could be assumed to be afab, that doesn't mean i always view them as women?? sometimes feel like that still happens, even in queer circles, where people will ultimately assume boobs = afab = she/her
FIVE OF WANDS
----
(oops so much for an order) i wasn't sure about this card at first but really liked where it landed - if you can clock the inspo for this character design please lmk your guesses
PAGE OF WANDS
----
when i get antsy doing large projects like this i try to think of different temperatures or times of day i don't really draw often - something a bit chillier at sunrise was a fun change of pace
