I'm really glad I chose a Disco Elysium reference to be my Magical Diary: Wolf Hall protagonist's alias. It makes scenes like this so much more amusing.

I'm rereading some old drafts and it's hilarious to be reminded that this guy was supposed to be some dashing suave stranger at some point early in the process of writing Well Met By Moonlight. He quickly turned into a sweet, precious cinnamon roll.
