I am a big fan of creators learning from and rectifying their mistakes as they go, but there's next to none of that here. Like the quick pivot from using he/him to she/her for Magne after using the character as a skeevy joke for years doesn't really address the issue.
Been rewatching Yowamushi Pedal in prep for the new season in October, and while Third Year is far, far beyond that, I just want to say if Sugimoto doesn't get into his final chance at the Inter-High I will walk into the ocean and let the tide claim me.
