real quickly the hair tut no one asked for

1. split hair into general colours u wanna use
2. loosely blend
3. finesse?
4. highlights n overlays

ALSO with the whites of the eyes in and the mouth coloured it looks much better, trust me,

not being entirely happy w the skin i did a quick orangish overlay, then some quick details (shadows, freckles etc.)
and thats basically how i colour skin!!

BLUSH!! this is all done w overlays!! i like using a peachy colour. love drawing drow bc i get to use a fun gold

going over and smoothing up mistakes. at this point i kinda ignore any preselected colours and just eyedrop the canvas

then we highlight!! i like adding some solid dots to particular areas for shine (mouth, nose, corners of eyes etc)

usually id do another layer of darker colours before this, but after im happy w the 'base' i go in with a colour like a deep pink to really get those shadows in. usually do it with a clipping layer so i can mess w the colours

it makes the skin look more vibrant and,, it pink :)

basically my method is
1. go slightly darker and redder
2. find where a shadow might be
3. blend the shit out of it

i use a lot of clipping layers before merging each layer. mostly use a mix of a modified csp oil brush + occasionally the 'running colour on fiber' blur tool
