Fantastic online Life Drawing session this afternoon with some excellent hand modelling on display.

Interesting online Life Drawing session with a high contrast and heavy shadows going on. Some of my drawings didn't quite come out like I wanted, but was pleased with the final 15 minute pose where I played around with capturing the shadows using a Sharpie and black biro.

Last week's The Line It Is Drawn theme was a comics mash-up with Star Wars for the 40th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back.

This afternoon's online Life Drawing model was broadcasting from Tokyo. I definitely wasn't quick enough to draw the pattern on the kimono she was wearing in these sketches, but added some textures in Photoshop afterwards to try to capture the look.

Half way through this evening's online Life Drawing class, the model's kid came into the room and started waving to all the people on his mummy's computer and showing us the game on his phone! 😅 Like that time those kids burst in on that BBC interview! So cute! ❤
