some of my favorite miitopia enemies
the gorgon (which is for real called "I, Medusa") is probably my #1, it's such a novel idea. how did no one else think of that before
Apparently it's been ALMOST A YEAR since I drew Spoonduck for #monsterdesignmonday ?!
Anyway I now think the eye is more like an "egg" it lays that grants it x-ray vision, emotional-weakness vision, and knowing-what-someone's-name-is-without-having-to-awkwardly-ask-again vision. https://t.co/jqdPuAbPAg
I can't believe "Meme Bug" is a viable recurring Pokemon theme now
(I'm not counting Wimpod/Golisopod because Japan's giant isopod craze was more of a big cultural phenomenon than a mere image your middle-aged mom found on facebook that she wants you to come see)
I decided to revisit Bambeno's design to actually be more fitting of a pathetic and helpless-looking being that's completely dependent on its hypnotic powers. I like it a lot better now, and it not only looks more like eraserhead but also Frieza Dragonball

@avillanappears it kinda reminds me of how pokemon way back in the gen 1 days still had that clearer level of distinction, when there was a very clear recurring theme present in more than just a few monsters of "chunky dinosaurs"
@avillanappears beyond even my own tastes I really appreciate how distinct my singing monsters' style is. like just the recurring patterns of clearly defined eyelids and the types of body parts they like to use really makes it feel so connected, like a real living world
Quarantox
A walking biohazard containment unit. Its sentient tar-like slime is highly toxic and oddly smells like grape soda.
