H. corollatus is considered a senior synonym of H. benxiensis. Huaxiadraco corollatus and S. dongi can be distinguished in a number of features in the skull and wing. The two species seem to have coexisted chronologically.

It's #PterosaurTuesday! So I’d like to talk about my latest contribution, a paper on Aerotitan! It is based on a controversial jaw tip: it has been considered as either an azhdarchid upper jaw, azhdarchid lower jaw, or thalassodromine upper jaw (as the sister-group of Alanqa) +
But the most interesting part is, in my opinion, the mandible. We demonstrated that the two main symphyseal fragments fit perfectly, unlike previous interpretations. The rough dorsal and ventral edges are damaged, arguably causing the superficial appearance of a downturn [3/8]

Please, welcome Kunpengopterus antipollicatus! A new pterosaur from the Jurassic of China with a reversed, or opposed, thumb. This is the first such case for a pterosaur. This kind of feature typically correlates to arboreal habits. [1/5]
