Finished watching it yesterday. While less intricate and character driven than other works from same director, the larger themes at play and how it plays with them in a surprisingly twisting way were very engaging to me. Plus the lead actors ❤

Best news ever! 😭 They're finally bringing to the market a new version of this classic manga which I waited so many years to read because previous editions were rare to find! I'm an huge fan of the anime but never got the chance to seriously read it. End of the month! 🥳🥳🥳

The music is really good and clearly distinctive but everything else was mediocre at best. Too bad.

Yesterday I sat through the last 2 ep of the 1997 season of #Berserk and finally finished it. This second time it definitely hit harder given K.Miura's sad fate and all. In any case I think it captures pretty well the 'Golden Age Arc' and while there are certainly striking (1/2)
