Every few years I repaint the God Cards. These were my last set, from back in 2019. I'll be beginning a 2023 set soon, but I still love how these came out.

The Artist The Art

In the original Crisis Core the player can see the Emerald Weapon hidden underground in a crystalline cluster as a fun little piece of foreshadowing. Crisis Reunion appears to have recreated the scene without waiting for an FF7R redesign by using the FF14 Emerald Weapon model!

FF7's Bahamut Neo captivates me as a design because it's such an unorthodox concept that Nomura committed to depicting even with the simplicity of FF7's models. That audacity and trust in your designs to have clarity and impact through restrictions is something I want to emulate.

AHHHH Check it OUT! New screens from Slave Zero X up on the steam page n out in the wild. It's so exciting getting to show folks more of what we've got here, but even this is still just the tip of the proverbial iceberg
