The line art for my illustration. I definitely want to make coloring pages (free for folks) in my community. I think it would help too show our world even before colonialism.

Because we don’t see that enough, we don’t imagine it enough. And we need to as indigenous peoples.

I used to have people laugh at my chubby art when I’d set up my booth, they’d laugh, make rude remarks and emphasize how much they didn’t like seeing what my art portrayed.

It’s hard to experience to being a plus size queer artist, and I modeled for my art.

Shell 🌿

Wanted to recreate the Birth of Venus, but with Plateau touches. Also wanted to incorporate the pink conch shell. This shell is highly treasured by my people for its beautiful pink hues, it’s rarity and symbolizes material wealth. A gift from the sea 🌊 #ndninktober2020
