Happy #BookLoversDay
Celebrate #BookLoversDay and take some time to settle down with a good book. The wonderful Beatrix Potter wrote 23 tales; if you haven't already why not have a read of the most famous of them all, The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

#BPFacts
When Beatrix went on holiday, she used to send illustrated letters to the children of her former governess. In one letter Beatrix tells a story of four rabbits called Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter. This letter formed the basis of the famous Tale of Peter Rabbit.
#nationalinsectweek
Beatrix was fascinated by insects and studying their characteristics. Her love for animals and insects was heavily influenced in her stories, such as 'The Tale of Mrs Tittlmouse' who came across many insects, such as spiders, beetles, bees and Lady Birds.
