@GarryBagnell It’s best if you use tinted or grey paper/card when doing a a white bird
@scally_ray @Merlintag @RareBirdAlertUK @BirdGuides @NTBirdClub Very nice, I did one aswell🙂
A sketchy watercolour of the American Robin currently holidaying in Eastbourne. The original and prints available should anyone be interested.
The year is winding down and what a year it’s been 🙂 so here are 4 random paintings - Elegant T, Albert, TB Greenish & WT Plover, if anyone has had a drink and fancies a print send me a message👍
Well 2021 has been an excellent year for rarities with most birders having at least 2 new birds added to their UK list. Here’s one of the highlights from this year the gorgeous Red necked Stint which was found on the Blyth Estuary🙂
Still one of the best birds I’ve seen in the UK, a small matter of 15 years ago😬 Long billed Murrelet, Dawlish Warren 2006.😌 #RaritiesOnThisDay @britishbirds
Varied Thrush, Papa Westray, Orkney. Don’t think I’ve done such a fantastic bird justice here, hopefully do a larger painting soon. Can’t thank @snettsbirder enough for finding the bird which resulted in such a memorable twitch🙂
A water colour of the Two Barred Greenish Warbler which is currently loving life at Spurn, E York’s. Message me should you want a print🙂 @spurnbirdobs
My attempt at painting the Buckton Green Warbler 😬 if anybody should want to buy this the money will go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance fund as set up by @Bucktonbirder - message me if interested 🙂
