Would I rec this? Yes. But only if the pseudo-incest (switched at birth trope: MC is the wrong daughter brought back & raised with ML; MC is actually a young woman who transmigrated into the novel she’d been reading before death) & ancient Chinese age of consent don’t squick you
Pro: MC is spunky 🧨, historical setting (worldbuilding), supporting cast 👍, face-slapping villains, 1 villain is redeemed, romance is sweet, MC & ML are badass, Buddhist & karma elements
Con: some villains are stupidly evil/ evil for the sake of being evil (one-dimensional)
But tbh, it is actually not as bad as some negative NU reviewers try to paint it. MC & ML are equally obsessed w/ each other & have chemistry, writing style & worldbuilding are 👍, supporting cast & face-slapping 👍
