In the UK the names of the Wollywogs and Wogpoles had to be changed to Wollyhops and Wolpoles, respectively. This is because ‘wog’ is considered offensive there.

This change started in the New Play Control versions of Pikmin 1 and 2.

Defeating a Beady Long Legs in Pikmin 2 that doesn’t have a treasure will cause it to drop nothing at all. Originally, it was supposed to drop 25 Unmarked Spectralids, but it doesn’t due to a small oversight.

Yellow Wollywogs from PNF-404 have green eyes, while the ones from Hey!Pikmin’s planet have brown eyes. The same applies to their younger forms, Wogpoles and Young Yellow Wollywogs.

Earlier versions of the Flighty Joustmite shows that the Joustmites used to much more resemble their Cousins, the Cloaking Burrow-nit, having a shell with large pseudo-eyes in the front and 3 spikes on the top.
