Through his work, Moss Kendrix redefined portrayals of Black Americans in marketing and advertising. He pushed his clients to employ Black practitioners and implement DE&I practices. Dedicated to professional development, he encouraged Black students to pursue careers in PR.
Patricia Tobin's unique brand of PR was dedicated to building relationships with the community. Tobin co-founded the National Black Public Relations Society, an advocacy group for Black professionals in PR. NBPRS remains dedicated to providing support for Black PR practitioners.
