@Melody3948 I've fixed this now, it's live on the public_beta branch on Steam. This has caused some of the level layout to change. Sorry for the inconvenience!
You wanted the overworld map to show which levels you've beaten, and which ones you've found the Ancient Coin in. So, now it does!
There's now the option to change the difficulty when you get a game over. It will never encourage you to click it, though. If you feel patronised, you can turn this feature off in the settings.
You can also turn on Permanent Runestones. It'll make them last for an entire run instead of cracking and breaking over time.
A revamped difficulty select screen. It's visual and allows you to easily and quickly select the right setting for you. There's no shame in picking an easier setting - all the game content is available under all settings.
