1991: Otaku no Video
This was a fun OVA, even if a bit weird at times, I liked seeing what parts of otaku culture have changed or stayed the same 20+ years later

2000: Inuyasha was the second-ever anime I ever watched and easily my favorite Rumiko Takahashi work. I love this series so much 🥹❤️

2002: Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex

I remember watching SAC on Adult Swim when I was like 12-13 and not fully understanding what was going on but I loved it anyway lol Definitely my favorite iteration of Major Kusanagi, too.

2003: Swords of an Honorable Ruler

low-key the ugliest looking Inuyasha movie but it has the best story out of them all ❤️

A lot of shows I love came out in 2005 and I couldn’t pick just one ❤️ Still waiting for someone to rescue Blood+ from licensing limbo 🥺

2006: I’m not sure if I still like this show lol but Code Geass is one of the few anime that my sister watched with me back when it was only available fansubbed, so I have fond memories of it ☺️

2010: Hakuouki, Panty & Stocking

I actually tried to rewatch the first season of Hakuouki recently and it’s not on CR anymore 🥺😢 bring back my vampire samurai pls

2011 was STACKED with really good titles, it was hard choosing just one favorite ❤️
