There's only one other immortal that has to help with the field guide. His name is Saint and often tries to kill Jonah on sight. Jonah finds him irritating, Saint thinks Jonah is boring. They have very different writing styles.

Fontaine is an incubus that was originally a childhood friend of Jonah back in the victorian age. But they got seperated and didn't meet again until much much later. Incubi are basically flower bugs in this setting's lore. He's a moth. He was also raised by a demon named Monarch

He and Fontaine reside in Louisiana but tend to travel often. Jonah's biggest desire is to have a home but then he becomes restless when he gets that chance.
