I see Wizards of the Coast were so intimidated by the release of my new game yesterday that they had to announce a new edition of D&D to keep up.

Or maybe something more gloomy is more your speed. Bleak Spirit is a rotating-GM game which emulates the feeling of exploring fallen glory in the manner of Dark Souls or similar games.
