It was during the battle, the Summoner and the Demon had crossed the barricade and developed a sophisticated and deep bond in between. And it was such unique relationship strengthened their power against the mighty foe, [IV](who seemed to avenge the Demon on some personal matter)

Sadly Yakumo’s parents were miserably murdered and he was told to join a mysterious corporate [HOME] by his mother in order to seek for the true murderer. Since then Yakumo had inherited the Evoker, Shoge, and he tried to summon the demon, Yuki Onna, as per mother’s last words
