148: About 150 QD strips in, I was really stretching to find things I could do within the fairly rigid structure of the comic. I'd have to look for new things I could do to keep things interesting. So then I got to thinking, could you show camera focal length change in a comic?
No other OCs of mine ever get quite the same reaction as this pairing. Oh the other drawings can still be popular, but with these two I like the way everyone gets kinda wholesome vibes from them.
@MBMBaM Ahh! I just had to express surprise with the cold open once I recognized the story. "Marry Me" is probably the first webcomic to get a "major" motion picture release! I remember reading a bit of this gem WAAAAY back in the day. That's kinda delightful news.
140: You'd think QD would make a good wingman for a date, but ya know... sometimes you gotta fly solo.
137: Okay so I definitely cheated on painting the closeup of the pixels here. I'm not Roy Lichtenstein or whatever. I was working on a deadline! Still... taking Question Duck to the arcade was an opportunity to bring back some much needed VIBRANT colors into the comic.
Can I offer a storyline in our webcomic? I think Zeke's backstory flashback is probably one of my favorite comics I've gotten to work on but I think it's not the first one that comes to mind with our comic. Not a lot of boobs and butts in this one.
