Originally formatted as an 8 page comic to print on a single piece of 8x11 paper, it was an interesting challenge to try and condense what was then a mythical epic into just one very short introduction. It was hopefully just enough to catch interest and print the comics for free.
041: What? this isn't right! The question is directly related to the image! I must've been having an off day if I let that one get through editing.
There will be a number of QD strips that are just a single image, and since this was an excuse to do a still life it worked okay.
040: Pleasant evenings with food would be a recurring theme in QD comics. New food is such a big part of how we experience travel. But it also is worth noting that QD's world is rather strictly vegetarian, if not vegan. It seems weird if people ate meat when animals could talk...

039: Most of the time, I made sure to avoid any direct relation between the question and the scene. That's the whole joke, after all. But this is possibly the largest gap between imagery and question the entire series has.
Sometimes I'll design something in a concept sketch for the comic and then proceed to throw it away when it comes to drawing the actual comic. Anyway, @GunwildPrime and I have a webcomic which I'd love it if you'd gave it a read.

033: What's this?!? A crossover with my EXTREMELY SHORT LIVED WEBCOMIC "Gamer Radio Theater" a game news webcomic about friends who run a gaming podcast? Man, that comic sure went well... But I did love the characters, it was great to bring them back and they added a lot to QD.
