Gyuumans (of which Tamegi and Kreema are half-Gyuuman) don't assign gender at birth. Most Gyuumans go by non-binary pronouns, and a large percentage are asexual. Some Gyuumans will choose a preferred gender pronoun around their teenage years, but most remain NB.

Kofi has an instinctual need to protect her brother Been. Similar to the "Wrath State" of some Berserkers (E.G. Broly), she enters a hyper-focused state of mind where she will kill anyone that threatens Been.
