@MangoDevourer I usually start with a trapezoid while the top and bottom sides indicate the shoulder and hip. Then I draw those negative shapes around the waist to show which side the torso turns to and finish structures of chest, shoulders and pelvis. The pic is a study on Yoshinari's work
