27 - The statue in the courtyard is a representation of the Triple Goddess, the witchcraft pagan goddess of the moon, the earth and fertility. Each of her aspects represents a moon phase and of woman's life, Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Her symbol appears on the teachers clothing.
24 - The earliest drafts of Sucy depicted her as shy, and from Polynesia. She also had the ability to split her body parts and control them, because of Polynesian witches folklore. It was decided to make her more sharp-tongued and smart to have someone comment Akko's recklessness
12 - Sucy's name, "Manbavaran", is actually a distortion of the Philipino "Manbabarang", a type of Philipine witches, versed in dark arts such as curses and poisoning, using natural elements like bugs and mushrooms.
11 - Despite the cards having what seems like statistics, costs, and types, there is no known ruleset, meaning the game is actually unplayable. This also means Akko definitely invented her own rules to play the game, as Sucy says "Why can you use effects that aren't even written"
07 - Mouse Akko's design is inspired by the artstyle in Gamba no Bouken, a 1975 anime, even referencing different iconic compositions in LWA or in other Trigger productions, like BNA.
