DO think about shapes and personality. What type of character is your character! Interesting shapes will make you stand out over interesting colors.

DO NOT use a boring blank ref sheet.

Cartoons are like poetry. They should be interesting and expressive.

@WinterSnoWolf @BlueHarborC That’s somthing I’ll disagree with. The less people are thinking about fur in the design the better for me.

As long as people are flexible with colors of the fur vs the ref. shouldn’t matter to much. Focus more on good designs! Rare colors can come later

I’ve been working on some simple turn around ref sheets trying to get a style I like. I don’t like “emotionless” ref sheets I want a little character in them.... but still simple enough to offer for everyone!
